You're missing the point here- 78 hates all things Iowa and his posts contradict common sense most of the time. Was just pointing out beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Iowa State won a great game-I watched it all-my wife is an ISU fan.
I prefer the term "spotty". If Gesell and Jok play well enough (limit turnovers), I have confidence that Olaseni, Uthoff, and White can lead the team to a victory or two. Jok last night played horrible for 30 minutes, but played well enough down the stretch to hit some clutch shots. I was ****** that Fran left him in, but that might have given him the confidence he needs (hopefully).
Iowa's 4 guards they play (Gesell, Jok, Clemmons and Ogeslby) combine to average 23 ppg and none can really create their own shot besides Gesell's mid range jumper. Jok has 11 turnovers in his last 3 games and is averaging less than 20 mpg in those games. I think terrible is pretty accurate.
Kind of surprising when you come to a RIVALS board? Newsflash for you: most of us here hate all things Iowa as well and would be okay with a huge sinkhole opening up and swallowing Iowa City.

To be fair both have been pretty bad all year. They have shown flashes but they're both shooting 37% from the floor. I'm just happy we don't have to start Matt
To go with deanvogs "logic" Fran will be looking to push Jok out after the season then.
My guess is Deano is hoping that kid that almost walked on at Ohio State will come in and start as a true freshman
