I’d be furious if I was the 2nd place Big Ten East team that misses the conference championship but 7-5 Iowa gets in.
I think in the next 5 years you will see teams get demoted from the P2. A bunch of those schools don’t bring value and don’t deserve the money they’re getting.
I was assuming the East team would pull starters after the first quarter to rest them up for the playoffs. But you make a good point.
There are probably 4 or 5 teams in the east that think they would win the west. It definitely sucks but Ohio St and Michigan get preferential treatment from the media every single year that gives them access to things they don't deserve. One of them getting screwed over is a win for the little guys and spits in the face of the money men that ruin college athletics. I'll be celebrating it.
