Half my lifetime ago. Was in the SW corner/hillside when he broke his last long touchdown heading right at me.
2-9 ain't winning the Heisman. Had the team not **** the bed so much and maybe finished 6-5 instead, he would have had a much better chance.
And everyone knew he was getting the ball and still couldn't stop him
I never realized this either, but TD also missed out on the Doak Walker award to a guy who finished his last college semester with a 0.00 GPA. Take that for what it's worth.
