.

We generally sit front of the balcony (on the aisle) on the 40 yard line. Only seats I would trade them for are the Jack Trice Club or first row of middle section of either balcony.

I've sat between the 45s (both low and high) in the lower level and I prefer the front of the balcony by a fair margin.

Go here. http://jacktricestadium.io-media.com/web/index.html# Put in section W, row 4. That is my seat. (well actually I am row 3, but you can't select that one). I would take row 1 or row 2 also, but these seats are fantastic and unless you put me in a suite, I would never move from these seats to go to the lower section nor the Sukup End Zone. I've sat in all of those seats for various games and prefer my actual seats.
We were in section V, row 3, 19 & 20 until about 3 years ago - it was section N when we sat there. Loved our seats, loved our view, but the cold night games just wreaked havoc on my back. After two years with no tickets, we started back with mobile passes last year...I just missed the Jack too much! I agree, those upper deck, low row center three sections are amazing angles for the games!

Some people have different game viewing preferences, which I can understand. But I'm with the majority here in saying that I'd rather not be in the lower rows. Put me midfield at least 20 rows up. I also like the balcony views too, so long as I'm not at the very top.

Upper deck 50 yd line has the best view but middle of the lower deck has the best overall experience.

If you want to see the action the best? End zone seats up 10 rows offer the best view until the action moves too far away from you. If you want to get a overall view of the game without having to move, then the 50 yard line higher up offers better ability to see.

Think about where coach's boxes are, they want the best full field views.

We are row 13 in the center section of the Sukup. I have always preferred end zone view. Even as a student in the 70's my friends and I would run to the first row of the end zone at Clyde Williams. Granted, it gets difficult to see exactly what is happening at the other end zone but after years of experience I am able to figure it out pretty well.

A lot of action happens near the south end zone with those Fall winds out of the North. Overtimes are always played out right there in front of us. The triple overtime to beat Iowa was one to remember, all right there in our laps practically. Anyway, I know most folks would disagree with the end zone and I admit upper deck on the 50 is a pretty good view, too. But you never get that close-up feel that we do having the south end zone just right there in front of us.

My seats are W row 4, middle of the section. Only seats I would give them up for is Row 1-3 in the center.

Basically same distance from field as the club seating but better viewing angle.

They do have heat and alcohol, but I'm ok without.

We are in section D row 3 right on the 35. I certainly wouldn't want to be higher up. Being on the sideline is something I think everyone should do once (although I know that isn't exactly possible). It really shows you the speed, size etc along with all of the little details that you just don't get from the stands.

Other than Iowa and a few others where at least the visiting box is absolute crap.

We used to be on the 5 yard line, about halfway up the upper deck. That wasn't too bad, but tough for half the game.

Now we're on the 10 yard line halfway up the lower deck. It's weird, but at times I almost preferred the upper deck.

I've been on the upper deck mid-field and it was pretty fun. Can't see the details but sure can see the whole big picture.

The best seats are ones where you know the people, turn around and high five them, yell stuff at the refs, stand up at any given moment and people don't tell you to sit down or be quiet. Well.. we have had the same seats for about 10 years now though. ;)

Ideally 50 yard line in the middle is really good to get an even viewing.

I've seen a couple of games from end zone view, and while it's not great when the teams are on the far side away from you, it's a better view imo to see how the plays develop.

Off the topic a bit and I said this in the Random Game thread Saturday night, but I watched Ohio State/Purdue on Sling in 'Skycam' mode, and it was a either a drone or the wired cameras, but it gave a length ways view up close and it showed so much more of what's happening in the play. I'd love if more TV was done this way live.

Top row of lower level. I can stand up anytime I want without blocking someone's view. Plus a shorter route to the concession stand for mixers.

I have thought about moving to that row. Shade, too, right? Dry when it rains.

But I think game action is best viewed from the upper deck.

I’m in section 2 right around row 21. Not great seats by any stretch but the people I sit around make all the difference.

I used to sit in D with a bunch of ********. Glad to get away from them.
