Yeah, me too. Beating TT at home.... barely, while getting outplayed most of the game does not instill a lot of confidence for the rest of the season.
But a win is a win of course. We just need to learn how to play with effort the entire game.
Extremely. If Prohm coaches this group to the tournament it will be up there with Floyd's coaching. He's going to need to get creative and get the guys to improve rapidly.
I think it's time to start Young over Burton.
Obviously glad they got the win. Glad to see them fight through adversity and turn the game around but i just wish they would play the entire game like they closed it out. Those slow starts will cost us a few we may need down the road imo.
I still think Burton will start. I think Bowie is the odd man out, but if Burton keeps taking dumb **** shots, he will lose his spot soon
We have to start pressing and running. Our half court offense is pretty brutal.
Our D is ok, we will struggle on the glass in the B12.

It was amazing the energy that Weiler-Babb and Young brought. Jackson seemed to bring something too.
People still ragging on Tech..weird. I'll type it again: they're an NCAA tourney team with lots of returners.
That said, it looked bad for 30 minutes.
Imo Young and Weiller all the difference and if they're not starting/playing more Prohm is playing politics.

Tech was a good team last year, and they should be better this year (there's a reason all those names were familiar).
We're going to have to be really, really dialed in all year to make up for our serious deficiencies in the middle (though Young could be the guy that we need). Hard to put that burden on a freshman, but he brings high effort every time.

Weiler-Babb and Young were the difference makers. Naz and Monte were great in the second half but we don't win that game without those first two playing like they did in the second half. Young needed to get put in sooner in the first half, I'm not sure what Prohm's thinking was
I hear the mind is 4 times tougher than the body.
All the many Kenpom worshipers should know this team is roughly as good as any of our previous 5 tournament teams so clearly no cause for concern.
Great comeback win. I'm still looking for a full 40 minutes from this senior team. Perhaps the most entertaining aspect of this game is the mental breakdown here on CF. Lawd.
I'm fine with the ragging on Tech, because while they were in the tourney, they were 7th in a league of 10 last year. This is a deep league, and at this point it looks like as many as 8 teams could play their way into the tourney this year. We've gotta take care of business against Tech, TCU, K-State, and OU (could put Texas here, but I think they're going to turn it on here soon). Then, we have a shot to go dancing. I'm still convinced that 9-9 won't do it for us with the lack of a good win in the non-con.
