Maybe there’s something in the entry process that I don’t know about but I’m shocked Ozzy isn’t in already.
guessing because he was already in with Black Sabbath, even his earliest solo album would be pretty old though
My opinion of each and if they are rock or not:
Mary J. Blige - like her, not rock
Mariah Carey - not a fan, not rock
Cher - like her, not rock
Dave Matthews Band - not a fan, is rock
Eric B. & Rakim - like them, not rock
Foreigner - not a fan, is rock
Peter Frampton - kind of like, is rock
Jane's Addiction - love them, is rock
Kool & the Gang - love them, actually some of their songs do rock
Lenny Kravitz - love the first three albums, not the rest, is rock
Oasis - love them, is rock, Blur should be in same year though
Sinead O'Connor - like her, most of her music actually is alternative rock
Ozzy Osbourne - kind of like him, is rock
Sade - love her, not rock
A Tribe Called Quest - love them, not rock

They've been waiting for a post like yours.
After watching the recent full length documentary I'm more and more of the opinion that the real artists and Rob/Fab probably deserve all their awards collectively. The surviving guy (Fab) has actually kept practicing and actually can perform the songs very well live, kind of shockingly so for a guy in his 50s who looks like he's in his 30s.
It's not any less fake than half of pop music and it was WILDLY more popular than most pop music. The guy behind it is scum but the actual artists and even Rob and Fab aren't really villains at all. People love those songs. You can slam 80s or early 90s pop but a few of their songs are objectively among the best pop of that era.
How is Peter Frampton not in already, he isn't my personal taste, but I feel like he had a few huge runs.

I redecorated my office today. Dug through some old CDs I found in the process.
Found one of my cousin's wedding album back when burning CDs of the couple's favorites and handing them out was cool and proceeded to be very judgmental of her music choices.
Not lying but Michael Bolton's version of "When a Man Loves a Woman" was on there.
Frampton Comes Alive was a mega hit. It's follow-up, I'm in You was platinum although not as well received.
Humble Pie's Rockin' the Fillmore is a monster rock record for those in the know.
