***2024 NFL Season***

These teams like the Dolphins and Browns just don't have what it takes in crunch time. Dolphins had one of the best offenses all year and Cleveland had the #1 defense but none of that mattered.

I'm still very skeptical of Lamar, he hasn't won a playoff game yet. I guess everyone has to start somewhere but thr AFC is still Allen and Mahomws.

There are teams that are built for certain weather. Miami was not built for cold weather games. Their season ended last week when they couldn’t finish off the Bills. I think they could have given KC a game in Miami. But it was obvious with their tackling early that they just didn't want to be there last night.

Edit: The Lions are another of those teams. Get them out of a dome and they’re a completely different team.

They would have had to turn around and play the Bills again this week in Miami if they won last week. The game probably would have been more competitive than last night but without Howard and Chubb on D the result would have probably been the same..

Some teams have it in the postseason and some don't.

I saw RG 3 tweet complaining about conditions in KC. People who remember the ice bowl and San Diego Cincinnati would be like suck it up.

It is an interesting sport though. They play a majority of the season in warm temperatures but more often than not decide who plays for the championship in cold and snowy conditions. One game difference in the standings makes a world of difference in how a game is played.

Yeah, but the only time the Lions will play outside a dome in this playoff season is if they have to go to San Francisco... and while it's not indoors, it's not exactly cold there, either. I'm not stating the Lions will win against the 49ers; I'm just stating a reality - at San Francisco is the only time the Lions can possibly play outside this entire postseason.

Domes/Retractable stadiums should be banned. Rip off all of the rooftops! Football was meant to be played in outdoor conditions (besides lightning of course). The Vikings and Lions would have a huge advantage if they played outdoors.

Spoken like someone who has likely never played competitive tackle football in these weather conditions but likes to speak for the players as if they actually like to play in subzero temperatures.

And no - this Detroit Lions team would NOT have a competitive advantage playing outside - they are a high-octane offense that would struggle in the cold - much like the Chiefs did last night for most of the night. And yeah - the Chiefs did win last night, but they played a team that wanted to be there less than the Chiefs did.

Do you also advocate for playing outdoors during the day in Arizona in September?

Everyone talking about how great Dallas plays at home, but they don't mention how weak their home game opponents have been. I think the Packers are gonna give Dallas all they can handle today.

I was at the Bears-Vikings MNF game in 2010 outside after the Metrodome collapsed. I'll take US Bank Stadium any day of the week over that experience.

The reason the Bills gsme got moved back was for traffic/fan safety issues.

Mahomes's helmet breaking would indicate it is in fact not meant for those conditions.
