How else are boomers like me going to find out church is canceled? So is KWWL going to run this closing ticker all game long? Who uses the TV scroll for closings anymore?
Dolphins fan seeking advice - Chiefs defense is great and they earned that win, so I want to preface with that before my next comment. Also, couldn't be happier the game was played last night in a true football weather game as it should be played.
Maybe it's bias, but I feel like Bradley Chubb, Xavien Howard, Jaelen Phillips, Jerome Baker, Andrew Van Ginkel, and Javon Holland are all above average players at their respective positions, and all of them suffered serious injuries that ended their season. I read a stat that in terms of numbers, they weren't that injured, but in terms of WAR, the Dolphins were #1 in missed defensive players and #5 in missed offensive players in games.
Do you chalk this up to bad luck, or is this a strength and conditioning issue?
Aren't jerseys like the most flammable material imaginable
I do, sadly, agree with this. I'd argue Tua is the most accurate QB in the league and Tua's success is that McDaniels played to this strength by drawing up quick plays for Tua to hit. However, I'd also argue Tua is the worst QB in the league at making positive plays happen when his first read is taken away. It's just bad luck, most teams run into this issue from time to time.
The problem is the quarterback needs upgraded if Miami actually wants to compete for championships. Injuries aren't the reason the offense fluctuates wildly from greatest show on turf to meh.
When other organizations suffer injuries, they rely on the qb to pick them up. Tua isn't that level of quarterback and is frankly the part that holds the offense back from consistent success.
