***2024 Minnesota Vikings***

So according to the draft value chart the #12 = 250.9.

#32 = 112.6, #34 = 108.4 and #66 = 59.2 so 280.2 total.

So according to that it's a plus trade for the Vikings.

Initial impression for me is we didn't get enough of a return for falling 20 spots...

I wonder if they are hoping for Booth or Elam at 32or 34
Thought they might move down, but not that far. Terrible first trade.
Don't want Boothe.

The 2023 3rd rounder will probably range between 38 - 60 according to this year's value chart.
I think it's this year's 3rd round pick from Detroit. 66 overall

Are you serious? Everybody is trashing this move. Deservedly so.
Yeah, I hadn't seen that they gave up their own 2nd. Seems like they could have gotten more, but we'll see what happens.

Kwesi is definitely an analytics guy. I'll reserve judgement until I see what they do with the picks.
They essentially trade spots in both the 1st and 2nd round with Detroit to pick up a third. Lost way too much first round value IMO.

You're right. ESPN didn't list the number so I assumed it was next year's 3rd...and my reading comprehension skills are turrible because I didn't see the 2022.

I like Elam but he is nowhere near as good as Hamilton or McDuffie. I don't think Elam falls that far. If we can get Zion Johnson or Kenyon Green at 32, a corner at 34... that would be decent. Then a tight end and safety in round 3. Guess it doesn't matter, this trade was a bonehead move.

Green has already been picked

And Zion is gone
