Probably not, but I don't think they have much choice. Kirk's injury was sneaky well-timed from a personal financial standpoint. His stock/play on the field/value to the franchise/replacement viability were all working 100% in Kirk's favor.

It's actually remarkable how fortunate he was when usually it's a devastating type injury. Not for ol Kirky, which is classic Cousins luck.
