***2024 Minnesota Vikings***

And his record in games decided by 7 points or less this year is 4-7. In at least half of those losses, a key decision that he made toward the end didn't work. Not sure how that's complicated to understand.

I'm not saying to fire KOC but I am saying that his turtling at the end of the Bears game or using Brandon Powell on two straight tush pushes yesterday were both negative EV decisions. I get that a nuanced point might be tricky for you.
Lots of blame to go around for Saturday’s loss. But the second half defense was the main reason they lost the game. The defense put the offense in that position. 3rd and 21 and you allow the opponent to catch the ball at the first down marker with the closest defender 3 yards away? Make that simple stop and the opponent punts away instead of scoring a TD and gaining momentum to come back to win

I also wish he would work to eliminate throwing the ball while falling down and throwing back across the field, even though that's how he got his two touchdown passes

But the season is essentially over anyway. They are not a SB caliber team.

I want to know the Vikings plan for running back in the off-season. Akers, Mattison and Chandler just aren’t starters in this league. Draft? Trade? Who’s going to be a FA that’s proven himself this off-season?

Don't trade for one. Plenty of RB talent available in the mid to late rounds of the draft.

Mullens has the Brett Favre mind set without the Brett Favre talent. Takes too many unnecessary chances.

Bo Nix, Michael Penix, and JJ McCarthy could all be sitting there for the Vikes in round 1. Should they take one of them?

One of his TDs was just as bad a decision as you could make as a QB. First and goal from the 1 and you throw that ball in traffic to Addison. That's not the old "good decision if it works out" kind of throw. Given the down and distance, that's a "get your dumb ass benched" kind of decision, the outcome doesn't matter.

Watching guys like Mullens in the league just highlight why Purdy is an elite QB. Being on-time with your decisions and throws, and consistently throwing with great accuracy are what it is ALL about. All these stupid discussions about marginal differences in arm strength just drive me crazy. It's almost like the last 20 years of Tom Brady didn't happen.

His 2nd interception was an even worse decision.

I don't understand why the NFL makes schedules like Minnesota and Detroit playing each other twice in three weeks.
It's happened or will happen for multiple teams this year. Philly/NYG play 2 of the last 3 games as well. KC/Den played both of their games in a 3 week span. Ten/Hou was last weekend and in 2 weeks again. Det/Chi played their two with only on game between them. SF/Sea did it too.

Yes, I just don't understand why they do it that way
