I don’t think they missed on those picks.
Cine and Booth? At best you can say the Vikings shouldn’t be going into 2023 counting on much from them. That wasn’t exactly the Legion of Boom keeping them from getting on the field before injuries. Evans was just flat out better than Booth.

Booth and Cine will have to adjust in a hurry. It’s one thing when you play on the back end when your front 3/4 has the opponent typically overmatched like they had in college.
 
I saw that Za'Darious Smith asked for his release, but the Vikings declined. I'm sure he wants to hit the free agent market given how few DE are available.

This. He's definitely lost a step, and wasn't worth his contract, but damn he was one of my favorites. Loved the story of his career.
Yeah, I really held out some hope that he'd see the big picture and ride off as a Viking. He's still decent, but he's past his prime. His story is one of the better ones out there and you just wanted him to be a Viking lifer.
