This is the third player this season who has admitted playing hurt now? Rocco again with the platitude that players are encouraged to let them know when they're hurt. So either the message isn't getting through to these guys or he is full of it. Either way, it's a problem.

I was glad to hear the reporters pushing Rocco about having Jeffers in the line-up everyday. Either catching or as the DH.

It was a great game for the Twins. A wonderful salute to Joe Mauer.
A fantastic group lead the crowd in singing as we raised our flag. A retiring young Service man was recognized as the flag was raised. And lots of offense by the Twins. Got there early and got the very nice Joe Mauer pin.

That’s the cycle this team is in. Win five, then lose five. Hope yesterday is not what we see the rest of the way from Keuchel.
