Unfortunately, beyond Kirilloff there's not much real help in the minors either. Just get by the Toronto restricted roster fiasco, and get people healthy and off the IL.

I’m going increasingly worried about Jeffers bat as well. He can’t hit a bull in the ass with a tambourine.Unfortunately, beyond Kirilloff there's not much real help in the minors either. Just get by the Toronto restricted roster fiasco, and get people healthy and off the IL.
You didn’t like yesterday’s lineup with Garlick hitting lead off? LolI'm most worried about how Rocco (or the FA) is managing line-ups. Too many games without our top hitters in the line-up. Supposedly they are trying to avoid injuries but their results couldn't be much worse.
Glad Harmon, Tony, Rod, and Kirby never had to be subjected to today's baseball.
That, and not playing our .350 hitter. Or is Arraez hurt too?You didn’t like yesterday’s lineup with Garlick hitting lead off? Lol
I think he’s fine. They’re just hell bent on him not facing lefties unless he has too. That, and not playing our .350 hitter. Or is Arraez hurt too?
If you think it couldn't get worse than 30-23, I don't know what to tell you.I'm most worried about how Rocco (or the FA) is managing line-ups. Too many games without our top hitters in the line-up. Supposedly they are trying to avoid injuries but their results couldn't be much worse.

I was referring to being able keep guys healthy....If you think it couldn't get worse than 30-23, I don't know what to tell you.
Besides Buxton, what hitters aren't playing enough.
Prior to Wednesday, Arraez had played 20 games in 20 days. He has missed 2 games all year and didn't start 6 others (5 in April), the last 2 times being a platoon situation.I think he’s fine. They’re just hell bent on him not facing lefties unless he has too.
Go ahead and play Garlick against lefties (even though he's a terrible LF) but leave your best hitter in the line-up.Prior to Wednesday, Arraez had played 20 games in 20 days. He has missed 2 games all year and didn't start 6 others (5 in April), the last 2 times being a platoon situation.
Platooning Arraez and Garlicky makes all the sense in the world. Against lefties, Garlicky is better than the careers of Morneau and Mauer. Against lefties, Arraez is a slight worse hitter than the careers of Luis Rivas and Greg Gagne
I can understand that, but it's not like we have Kirby backing him up.I think he’s fine. They’re just hell bent on him not facing lefties unless he has too.
I agree on Buxton since he basically sucks now. Best to see if the days off are throwing off his rhythm. If you think this record will hold up when we start playing the big boys, with half the team injured, I don't know what to tell you.
Buxton, Arraez, Correa (when he comes back) Polanco, Kepler, and Larnach need to play. And if he's not catching, Sanchez needs to be the DH.
I can understand that, but it's not like we have Kirby backing him up.
I'd rather play Arraez full time and let him get his ABs against lefties. I trust Rod Carew when he says Arraez reminds him of himself more than any other Twins batter he's seen.
Garlick and Arraez can both be in the line -up against lefties.I can respect the idea of playing him all the time against lefties to see what he can do, but in nearly 300 ABs in his career, he has been a bad hitter against lefties. Totally makes sense to bring him into those games as soon as a reliever comes in.
With their current active roster, not many good choices. Right now is basically Larnach or Miranda, Larnach is a wash and Miranda has actually been far better against lefties this year and way better than than Arraez in the minors.Garlick and Arraez can both be in the line -up against lefties.
Who's the hitter you put in there if Arraez sits?
Max is the only one that matters. The pen is already dogsh*t. Can’t get worse. Finally named the guys who will miss series in Toronto.

Max Kepler, three other Twins will miss Toronto series because they are not vaccinated
Kepler, Emilio Pagan, Trevor Megill and Caleb Thielbar returned to Minneapolis and will miss the three games against the Blue Jays.www.startribune.com
Only good thing about these four idiots not making the trip is that Rocco will be forced to use Duran as the closer (if we're lucky enough to be in that spot).Max is the only one that matters. The pen is already dogsh*t. Can’t get worse.
Have you seen the bullpen options at AAA?Max is the only one that matters. The pen is already dogsh*t. Can’t get worse.
