MLB: ***2024 Minnesota Twins***

Yup, Celestino and Gordon.
I don’t know how much I like that. They have too much team control left and Gordon can play a lot of places. Maybe if they were World Series ready and gonna make the big push.

Depends on who they might be in on. If there was another Ryan out there (best trade this FO has made), I'd do it in second.
Gotta give to get.

I hear that and agree. I just don’t trust the FO to hit on another Joe Ryan again yet. And I agree with your medical evaluator person. That guy sucks balls. Maybe other clubs have this many guys with arm problems but this seems crazy.

Just hated to read that the Mets' doctor said no way to a Padres' Paddock deal, but we said sure, we'll take him.

You can get decent relievers for a decent prospect or 2.

If you go after a top end SP, you trade some of your top prospects.

Not sure if it's Rocco or the FO, but this Pagan closer experiment is not working.
......meanwhile, Rogers is leading the majors in saves.

It might not all be on the medical staff. The pitching coaches might have some responsibility here. They are known for tweaking mechanics to increase velocity and encouraging a heavy use of sliders and splitters. Both can produce short term benefits on the mound, but could be putting more stress on the arm. The forearm/elbow issues the last couple of years are throughout the system, not just at the MLB level. Some of the arm problems are probably due to no minor leagues in 2020 and a shortened spring training this year.

Rockin a .454 OBP, Rocco has got to get Arraez into that leadoff spot. The kid is doing his best Rod Carew impersonation.

Not really, no. I wish they wouldn't have made that trade. Could still work out if Paddack recovers and has a couple of good years and Pagan gets his walk rate down.
Rogers was going to leave in free ageny after this season. Brayan Medina isn’t a bad lottery ticket, either.
