Somebody has to ask Donaldson what he thinks about his teammate being told by the umpire that he “has to wash his hands” after the inning instead of throwing German out, as he should have.
Moran did not pitch well. The offensive is underwhelming but hopefully about to get getter with some injury recoveries.
That was such a weird game last night.
His first batter was pretty good. Struck him out on 3 pitches just to have the catcher miss strike 3 to put runners on 1st and 3rd. If he blocks that ball, I think Moran probably escapes with the W.
Agree with the catcher situation in being that he had a horrible ending to the game as well. I still believe that it was more on the pitching though because of the double play that nullified the run getting to 3rd at the start of the sequence.
believe you are thinking of the 8th inning on the stupid catcher's interference. Moran pitched the bottom of the 10th where a runner starts on 2nd. He struck the first batter out on a passed ball, which resulted with 1st and 3rd and 0 outs.
Nothing like two 3 run bombs to get the TwIns back on track. It’s early, but love seeing the Twins getting the old Joey Gallo.

As far questionable Rocco moves go other than Pagone, just can’t see playing Gordon’s left handed bat and sitting both gold glove center fielders.
Joe Ryan goes 5-0 and the Twins take their first series from the Yankee$ in 22 years. Going for the sweep tomorrow will just be gravy. Twins finally have pitching and are showing they are a solid club this year.
