Bowl games continue to spiral downward. They'll never be irrelevant because people love watching CFB but their value is plummeting
I agree. There's no way to build any kind of tradition when you change the entire title every few years. Of course, I am hoping most of them go away.

I wait all year to watch two 7-5 teams with 3-6 conference records duke it out in front of 9,000 fans a thousand miles from campus with 7 starters out due to grades or opt outs.
Look at the deep tradition of Pop-Tarts formerly known as Cheez-It aka like 9 separate monikers in the Florida version alone, not even counting the Phoenix version.
