2023 Schedule

Donor lots opening at 8:30 AM for the CyHawk game is going to create a cluster. 100,000 people are all going to show up to tailgate at same time. I am only mildly exaggerating.

Other than an 11am kick, how is that different than any other start time? There are always going to be thousands showing up around lot opening for that game.

Donor lots traditionally would have opened at 7 AM. Maybe the typical growing waive of people just pushes back 90 minutes like you believe. I think it will create even more massive lines before opening at 8:30 AM. We will see.

Makes me glad I have some shade on the west side of the stadium. It will probably be 150 degrees that day.
I sit on the west side. In Sept, there will be no shade until about 3 or 3:30. Bring the sunblock.

Always surprises me people still enjoy watching these. It’s football, but the product for most of the bowls sucks now and has for a few years.
Bowl games suck me in every year. They've turned into a bit of a circus, and it feels like the bowl sponsors, teams, fans, and media are leaning into it. Obviously the big ones still have some prestige and pride, but the rest are a load of fun if you remember that they don't mean anything. It's not better than it used to be, but it is fun.

I suppose. I guess it’s just the same as NFL preseason. I just can’t get into it unless my team is involved.
