2023 Schedule

LOL That really would piss them off. I wonder if there is a way for the schedule makers to do this if they stay full term.

It would be both petty and hilarious.
That's a great idea. Let's start a petition

I know it saves money and could help Ohio recruiting... But I HATEEEEEEEEEE that we have to go play at Ohio... Big boy programs shouldn't have to do that.

Exception being Vegas, NOLA, and other fun destinations for a bowl game like road game.
Well hopefully we can rack up a few more NY6 bowl games and playing at such venues will be a thing of the past.

FWIW- I went back and looked last year and the game times were announced for our Non-Conf games around the end of May.

Probably another month or so before we know the times to those first 3 games.

TV Times are starting to come out for games in the first couple of weeks.

Could be seeing something soon for Iowa/Iowa St - possibly.

Here are his guesses for the first 3 weeks.

Week 1: UNI- He doesn't have us on there
Week 2: Iowa - FS1 @ 11
Week 3: @Ohio - ESPNU @ 11

Realistically I think the only other option is this flipping with Oregon @ Tech for FOX @230. Auburn/Cal won't be at 11am since it's @ Cal.

I’d guess UNI to be either 1:00 or 6:00 on ESPN+
Isn't it that the home team can pick the start time for ESPN+ games? If that is the case, I would pick 4 PM..

You get all day to tailgate, leave yourself some time if there is a weather delay, 1/2 the stadium is in the shade at kick with the second half being mostly shaded (likely hot)

Two years ago, the UNI game (ESPN+) was chosen to start at the same time as the following week's game (Iowa). That smelled like a Campbell decision -- game day routines and all that.

I'm guessing that scenario will happen again this year if the Iowa game is scheduled for afternoon or evening.

I love the 6 pm start times. Tailgate all day, and have a nice game under the lights!

If they want a 11 am game in November, have at it. Anything in Sept and Oct should not be at 11 am.
