***2023 Ryder Cup***

Pairing odds per DK:

Rahm/Hatton +105 over Scheffler/Burns +110
Hovland/Aberg -110 over Homa/Harman +130
Fowler/Morikawa -115 over Lowry/Straka +140
Rory/Fleetwood +100 over Schauffele/Cantlay +120
Lowry/Straka and Schauffele/Cantlay seem like decent value bets.

Hovland/Aberg could be really interesting. I could actually see them go either way. Either be a steam roller of a team, or a complete disaster. I lean toward a very strong team, as they both seem like great dudes with awesome personalities, but both being super young, you just never know.

Other than Cantlay/Schauffele, I did NOT see these pairings:

Day One: Friday Foursomes

408:20Rory McIlroy / Tommy FleetwoodXander Schauffele / Patrick Cantlay

Scottie gonna shoot like 15 under now that he has a designated putter?

Hope I'm wrong but I see Europe being up 2.5 to 1.5...maybe even 3-1.

It’s possible. The guy is still the best out there, by a wide margin, tee to green. His putting has been atrocious though.

In late July, he was ranked 1st off the tee. 9th in approach and 154th (!) in putting.

Even with those abysmal putting stats, he finished outside of the top 10 only 7 times in his last 25 starts. Finished top 5, 15 times with 2 wins, with 1 of the 2 being the Players Championship.

Rickie has been an awful Ryder Cup player in Europe. If Europe doesn't take 2.5+ points there, given pretty favorable matchups, they're going to be in some trouble.

Rahm almost aces the 7th. Would take a miracle for anything other than Rahm/Hatton to go back to 2up.

Hovland/Aberg back to 1up.

Lowry/Straka now 2up.

Cantlay/Schauffele are still AS with Fleetwood/McIlroy, but have had to scramble to do it through 2.

Gonna not post for a while. Just have a feeling this could get out of control in a hurry.
