That and we all appreciate making McDoormat jokes, but don't you think Greg also learned a lot from his experience at Iowa State? He has a great great gig at Creighton where his style of play works with the style of players that come to Creighton. He left for an upgrade once- it didnt work out at all. I would be really surprised if McDermott elected to leave Creighton by his wish.
His teams now don't play anything like they did at UNI and Iowa State. They play much faster and there aren't as many set plays in the offensive quarter court.

He was making the change at Iowa State but it was too late by then.

I think he took the offense he was running at UNI, which relied on execution of a somewhat complex offense, and tried to apply it with higher level athletes, which ended up limiting their natural abilities to create. Learned his lesson, and took that to Creighton.

Cowboy Kermit likely not a credible source lol, but this would be a big one to keep an eye on.
This would send some ripples through college basketball for sure

Edit - I don't follow Creighton closely, but seeing more this morning, I guess there's been some rumblings for a while. Sounds like McDermott and the new AD maybe don't get along all that well.
Will be interesting to watch play out.
