***2023 Masters Thread***

Interesting story. 2 strokes is a strong penalty. Funny to me since the announcers tell everyone what club is being used all the time.

Would need to see more angles, but The Masters doesn't typically seem like they want to nail guys on technicalities anyways.

Koepka
Par 5s (4 holes): -5
Rest of round (14 holes): E, 14 pars

I guess that's the way to do it.

So, is this thing over already, or what?

Decent chance it might be over…. and that would suck. Do not want Koepka to win.

I’m concerned that Rahm and these other guys are going to get bad weather and not be able to do much.

Judging by the radar I would think this round will complete without issue

Dunno about that, already have some little cells popping up and the last groups just started..

Are they going to be able to golf at all tomorrow? Forecast looks like decently heavy rain all day. Will the pros all meet up at top golf to stay loose?

They can play all day in the rain as long as there’s no lightning.

But the guys that finished didn’t have to deal with much wind. That would be my concern if rain/thunderstorms get started. Will wind precede the precipitation?

I kinda hope so. I put $1 on Koepka and a few others. But I got BK at +4000, so that would pay our $41 for that $1 risk. I'd gladly cash out for $7 or $8 if it meant him not winning. Maybe Bennett will shock the world. :)

Exactly. If it gets windy this afternoon for instance…. nobody will have a chance to get anywhere close to Koepka. This course gets 10x tougher with even a little wind. Although rain could help if it softens up the greens too.

Those weren't showing up on the radar earlier, they are now
