Where are your tickets. may want to look you up at a game so you can buy the popcorn. lolI don’t know all the signs either, so we try to listen to the announcer and those near us. I wish I had someone to sit next to me and tell me what the calls are. I’m usually watching the ball and not the call. I do “know” that you cannot touch the net, any play, either team.
Yes. Except the line isn't "imaginary", there is a physical line painted directly beneath the net. If a player's foot crosses that line in-bounds, it is also signaled as a violation. (Normally happens to an attacker or a blocker if their momentum is carrying them towards the net)OK, this is very helpful but sometimes it doesn’t look like a player even jumped into the net. Is it a violation if your foot crosses the imaginary line between the net and the floor? Say while a player is positioning herself.
Thanks. This must be what I’m seeing called in the HS games as well. I think in HS the girls aren’t as experienced or disciplined so they get too close to the net just standing there and I couldn’t figure out why they stopped play and awarded a point.Yes. For season tickets, yes, they’re in the ticket app.are they loaded on your tickets cause I can never see them.
Any contact in the act of playing the ball is a violation, it doesn't have to be egregious, and you may not notice from the stand. The net is the main focus of the down ref so they generally aren't going to miss a call at this level.OK, this is very helpful but sometimes it doesn’t look like a player even jumped into the net. Good info, thanks.Any contact in the act of playing the ball is a violation, it doesn't have to be egregious, and you may not notice from the stand. The net is the main focus of the down ref so they generally aren't going to miss a call at this level.
If the player fully crosses the center line with any part of their body, then a center line infraction is called, but it is a different signal than the net violation. For that call, the ref points at the center line. I don't recall that happening at any point today.
sorry I meant the free admission ones. I have season tickets and have never seen the general admission onesFor season tickets, yes, they’re in the ticket app.
That’s what I meant. With season tickets we get 2 GA for each match. I’ll have to find the email that says who gets them.sorry I meant the free admission ones. I have season tickets and have never seen the general admission ones
