Yep, other than payday.Seems like a not only a step down but falling down the steps
Guy has done a good job, but he is also 62.Seems like a not only a step down but falling down the steps
I thought this job would have been good to give Jim Leonhard a look.
I've heard he doesn't interview well - meaning, presenting a grand vision and how he wants to build things. I think it's what kept him at Wisconsin so long, kept him from getting that job, and is still his issue.Leonhard didn't get a lot of play in any of the jobs that have opened so far. Kind of interesting.

Really thought Jason Candle would have been more of an option for IndianaCignetti is a good coach but going from a place where your facilities and resources are head and shoulders above everybody else you play to a bottom 5 job in the Big Ten seems like it's not going to work out so well. Plus, what is Indiana doing hiring a 62 year old head coach?
He would be a disaster at UH and UH probably realizes that as well as they are now focusing on Fritz, Odom and Traylor according to Football Scoop.Saw this, but couldn't find any corroborating sources.
If true, that would be a MASSIVE win for Houston.
I had assumed he'd be out of their reach.
I'm not. I kinda mentioned the thoughts on Candle.Really thought Jason Candle would have been more of an option for Indiana
Fritz was openly pissed about the Tulane AD hire so I'm guessing he'd be more than willing to jump and he'll do well there but AGAIN, he's 62 years old.He would be a disaster at UH and UH probably realizes that as well as they are now focusing on Fritz, Odom and Traylor according to Football Scoop.
If Houston doesn't make a hiring announcement here today or tomorrow then I'm guessing they are waiting until after Tulane plays in the AAC Championship game Saturday to make the announcement that it is Fritz.Fritz was openly pissed about the Tulane AD hire so I'm guessing he'd be more than willing to jump and he'll do well there but AGAIN, he's 62 years old.
Wait til this guy meets the dime stack
