Agree. As long as everything doesn't have to go thru Campbell's headset for approval.

Guys who make hundreds of thousands of dollars...I think they'll be okay through Christmas.

Glad to see the address, he’s got experience as an OC on the best offense in the MAC that’s good. A lot of guys get moved up from smaller conferences, glad to see he has experience. Will be interesting to see if manning stays in some capacity and who will be new S&C coach. Also, Campbell has to let new OC just do his job if rumors are true about the micro managing. Glad to see/hear Coach is doing what’s necessary for his program to keep getting better.
If its the Ohio guy, im good with it. They are going from 3-9 in '21 to 9-3 with a chance for a 10 win season this year.
People were delusional and thought Golesh would move backwards and come back here to be our OC for some reason.
When a S&C coach gets fired it’s very rarely tied directly to win/ losses or perceived “weakness” on the field, it’s philosophical differences with the head coach.

Or our conditioning was worse than the last guy. We we getting worked hard on both sides by being gassed way too early. False starts and pad positioning both go up when Oline gets tired and we had A LOT of that this year.
I wonder how much of the alleged micro managing was because Manning had no experience and was learning on the job; I doubt Campbell was making Heacock run everything through him

CMC had to make changes. Had to. It’s all on coach now. If this doesn’t pan out much improvement over the next couple years, his ass is obviously next. Here’s to success!
We need to elevate our Brand, elevate our Cash Otherwise the best we can expecct is Mac level staff. Heacock is a stud, CMC I think is there or can get there, but were not in play right now for the proven power 5 coaches, we need to develop them just like our players.
Still think without a true special teams coach we'll lose two games next season we shouldn't have. ST is the margins and being rudderless is not helpful.

I thought our guys looked slow this year, just not enough burst to keep up with other Big12 teams. You can question if we are recruiting enough speed, but I just thought we looked sluggish.
From an o-line standpoint, again not sure I saw of lower body quickness and foot speed for our guys to be a competent Big12 o-line.
But who knows, it could just as easily be a personality conflict. May never know.
