2022/23 Coaching Staff Changes

Yah
Yah this really blows. Dave doesn't coach speak or beat around the bush. Very direct. Apparently said the truth too many times for Annointed Golden Boy to tolerate.

So who’s the golden boy?

It’s surprising to me that he was apparently on so short a leash but other certain staff members weren’t. Plus, who realistically has a better pedigree than him that you replace him with?

Do you know that others aren’t out?

If it is the Ohio OC, I wonder if their QB would come with? He was probably the best group of 5 qb in the country, and will likely be getting the bag somewhere.

Look at what Kaz Kazadi has done at TCU as a S&C coach. The mental aspect may be just as important as the physical aspect.

Maybe someone that knew Rudy Wade vs. Dave Andrews would know how they strengthened players mentally. I had heard Rudy Wade was pushing players to the limit mentally.

Well in theory he’d have better athletes here. Not sure who you want him to hire.
Exactly. Like I mentioned earlier, I think this is as good as we’d realistically hope for. A guy Campbell personally knows and has coached with + experienced + record of QB success and high powered offense, even if it’s at a lower level

The biggest appeal of this guy, is that he's not Manning. We know Manning didn't work, and as fans we definitely don't know who the quality coordinators are.

Campbell was never going to go after some hot name that had zero ties.
Biggest appeal for me is, contrary to Manning, this guy is already an experienced OC, rather than trying to learn it on the job line Manning. One of our biggest offensive problems wasn’t just plays or execution, but getting plays called in time, in game adjustments, and red zone play calling. Those things I’d assume improve with experience and tenure
