The flopping, especially on three point attempts, almost makes the NBA unwatchable.
The way these guys dive for the floor if even slightly touched is about as bad as a fixed championship boxing match.

I suppose the refs would catch hell, but it would be nice if they would just ignore the obvious ones like when they try to create weird intentional contact from the offense. If a ref had real balls they should call an offensive foul on some of that crap and let them remember how to play hoops.

Edit: He probably already knows he is not making the USA team, thus the Nigerian option. He wants to play in the Olympics!

I think Philly will win this series but Trae is going to be a problem every year in the playoffs. That's a matchup no one wants. I hope he stays with the Hawks, he doesn't need much more to be a finals caliber team.

Last year was interesting with the bubble but this year is the most I've had interest in the playoffs on the whole since I don't know when.

I hadn’t watched the NBA playoffs in years before last year. The bubble games were the only thing on and they sparked my interest again. Now I’m watching almost every game. I think it’s mostly the young superstars, I’d watch Dokic, Murray, Young in a playoff game any night.

Imo it's been really entertaining and intriguing because Lebron and his influence have been eliminated early

Yeah it's not the same but iirc the years between the Bulls 3 peats had some interesting teams/series. Just a fresh glimpse.

I think the Sonics one year got beat as a 1 seed in the first round.

The lockout pushed the start of the 98-99 season back to like January i want to say. The first year the twin towers won a title for popavich against Reggie Miller. One of my favorite seasons to watch ever
