We'll see what Monte does (and how much) but Paul-Campazzo is a total mismatch.
He’s said he’s never leaving, so I think he needs a way to put pressure on owners to make some changes. Nurk is doing the same thing with his comments.Absolutely no way the Blazers deal Lillard. No way. You blow up everything around him.
LaBron kind of was/is the coach, and general manger. Like it or not?Even with the injuries this is a loaded LA roster.
Compare to what Denver just did with half their team injured for huge parts of the year.
He's an all time great and has been crazy durable but the window is finally closing.
The one argument the LBJ fanboys seem to not make is the one that actually makes sense. He was never paired with a legendary coach. I think they hate that argument because maybe he had a hand in it somehow. You want to compare the advantages and disadvantages of LeBron vs MJ? It wasn't that MJs teams had more talent, but he definitely played for better coaches in Jackson and Collins.
Tim Duncan doesn't have his career without teaming with Pop. Phil was a legit edge for MJ, Kobe and Shaq. It's the one real aspect of support that he didn't have in his career that several other all time greats did.
I guess I'm starting to remember now. Denver's 6th is pretty good!People forget how cool the “sixth man” was back in the ‘90s and early ‘00s.
I wouldn’t be surprised one bit to see McCollum get movedAbsolutely no way the Blazers deal Lillard. No way. You blow up everything around him.
I think there will be a lot of big names on the move this summer. It's the nature of the NBA beast now.I wouldn’t be surprised one bit to see McCollum get moved

I don't think so. As soon as Frank Vogel was named coach, the Lakers immediately became a much harder working team on defense. They lead the NBA in defense this year - that's due to Vogel, not James...LaBron kind of was/is the coach, and general manger. Like it or not?
Good...I'm ready for some fresh blood:
Maybe the 76ers chances dropped some with Embiid's knee tear? Even though a mild menisc. tear, he can't be 100% now.Interesting. so who is the biggest-name star left in the playoffs, and will his team win?
I'd say Kevin Durant for the Nets. Not so sure the Nets will do it though. The 2021 NBA Champs will be either the Suns, Jazz, Nets, or 76ers, 25% chance for each team. Top 2 seeds in each conference I think.
I know. Really going out on a limb here.

I know you're talking about brand name fame but league is in transition to a new generation of stars.
Jokic, 26, should be MVP this year
Giannis, 26, already 2x MVP
Booker, 24
Doncic, 22
Could add a few more but that's four guys with MVP potential that have already likely won 3 MVPs all under 27 years old.
Doncic is such a weird player. Well below average athletic ability from a speed, jumping and quickness standpoint for an NBA PG or SG. It's insane how skilled he was as an 18-19 year old. Played in a legit European professional league at 16 years old. That's insane. Probably the biggest basketball phenom since Lebron.Crazy that Doncic is the age of a college senior. And I had Jokic down for 48.

There's a real argument that the top 3 players in the league right now are from Europe. He's almost as young as Tyrese.
With him, Giannis and Jokic carving it up I've been thinking greatest foreign players of all time. A lot of those lists have recency bias, but on that particular one it's just a fact that the best is right now. Dirk and Hakeem at the top (fun debate) but a ton of today's very young players right there already.
