Yeah Joe Brady will be able to name his job after the way he revamped LSU's offense.
During the last go around, Mizzu saw that they may be on the outside looking in if the conference fell about. They Whored themselves out to the big X, hoping to land that spot, but then got jumped by Nebraska. So when the SEC needed another school to pair with Texas a/m, they jumped at the chance. Money wise its been a good deal for Mizzu, they are in the weaker east division of the SEC, the SEC is improving in basketball and Mizzu was always a BB school first, football second.
He would be crazy to leave for Texas. Only way I see him leaving is for a head coaching gig.
If Arkansas hires Lane they will be the new KU/Rutgers of the league
Arkansas is already there, there natural recruiting area of east Texas was lost with the addition of aTm, they play in the best division in college football with games against Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and aTm.
Worst P5 coaching job, Rutgers at least is in a great recruiting area.
He's the only person who will be interested in the job who has any pedigree as a P5 head coach, regardless of how badly he's washed out at all of them.
Why? As long as Auburn, Bama and LSU are in your division it is a career killer. Look at Jimbo at A&M
Didn’t they have a 2 or 3 year postseason ban going on ? That’s a tough position to recruit from. He was just getting over those sanctions.
