LOL...Paul Rhoads is at UCLA with Chip Kelly (for the VERY short term) Wonder if had a merlot with Steve Alford before he got kicked to the curb. What a sH!t show. Good for him I guess.....I like Paul and he can spend his money on the beach or wherever.
He rode Teddy Bridgewater to a couple big paychecks, he's just not a head coach. He could probably get a good DC gig and just sit on his stacks of cash from UT. He had an interesting contract situation, it was backloaded bc of his buyout from UT. This was the first year USF had to pay him his full salary (top 20 in the nation at 2.5 mil), they also have a next to nothing buyout that kicked in this year as well. I wouldn't be shocked if this is directly related to Taggart's interest in the job. Makes sense they want him back and Strong's deal was pretty painless to get out of. Probably a win/win for USF and Taggart.

Man, I don’t know. OU has the money and life is a lot easier in the Big 12 than the NFL. Plus he’s got Rattler who is the next stud at QB
When the PAC 12 comes on....I am tuning out. Too late. I guess I knew that he went there after Bulima got canned, but just forgot.
Chip Kelly lost the magic there at UCLA. Wierd. Seemed like a good fit. The kids he got from LA area to go to Oregon and have success and now its not happening.

UCLA improved this season. It’s only his second season there. Give him time to recruit his players and develop them. He will have them at the top of the PAC 12 once he’s able to get his players. Look for them to compete next season.

From what I've heard, he was told whom to get rid of. But yeah, still a desparation move.
