2016-17 Big 12 Basketball Schedule Released

What's with the home game vs TTU being at 3PM on Friday, December 30? Attendance might be rough for that one with students being away and the old fogeys (like myself) having to work.
This is one of the three home games when the students aren't around. Maybe they'll sell enough to the Junior Cyclone Club kids to make up the difference, but I doubt it.

How much does it cost for students to buy a ticket for that game? It would be nice to fill the stands since Iowa State lost to Baylor during the break last year.

That Tech tip is very strange. I suppose ESPN is trying to figure out programming to show while people are home for the holidays, though you'd think they'd have more than enough bowls to fill that slot.

4 last year 4 this year and the year before.........nothing new.

Except there are only 7 total Saturday games this year as opposed to 9 in the past. So ISU has a majority of Saturday games at home. Counting the Friday games ISU has 5 weekend games at home this year.

$10 for one student ticket. Students also have first crack at $25 tickets in the student section for those games too (for non-students)

Thats the reason its on a Friday, because that Saturday will be packed with bowl games and playoff semifinal games.

Game at TCU will now be on all Fox Sports Regional Networks (not just Fox Sports Southwest)
