2014 Recruiting

Why couldn't this be done, entirely, via PM? If it's not for the masses, why put a message like this out there?

Not trying to be a ****. Just wondering.
No offense to some of you but when I visit another teams forum I always request people I am familiar with permission to pm or ask them to pm me. Im sorry but I only trust a few people here with the info I learned nothing against you or anyone else and if I offended im sorry

I think anybody who doesn't have Abdul Malik-Abu at the top of their wish list should rethink it. My order is Vaughn, Malik-Abu, Travis and Moore. If we don't land any of these guys then it goes Turner and O'Mara. After those two is where Davis and Jaksic come in.

Soooooo...full blown troll mode. Got it. Thanks.

OP...Nicely done on the compilation.

No just filling in 2 aquaintences... I dont troll ask those two theybwill tell you I am more than respectful of them they will also tell you I follow isu for my wife. But since they are cordial.I told them something I learned. Not that I need to explain myself to you

I too think I would honestly shed several full grown man tears of pure joy if this was our starting lineup for the 2014-2015 season:

G - Monte Morris (SO)
G - Matt Thomas (SO)
G - Rashad Vaughn (FR)
F - Georges Niang (JR)
F - Abdul-Malik Abu (FR)

I'm not sure Hilton's roof would make it through the year. To say we'd be national title contenders is an understatement! Make it happen Freddy!

With Hogue, Custer & SDW off the bench. That would be an elite team.

Yeah, I don't see Travis happening. From what I have seen, if he stays local, it will be in Minnesota.
Vaughn is the prize of the class if we can get him. To me, I think Fred will try to land some big fish in the class but if he can't, he will focus on transfers or bank them for the 2015 class. I would love to see Vaughn and Abu come here the most but I wont hold my breath.
I do not think Fred likes to bank schollies.

There will likely always be an open spot for a guy like Vaughn, and one of the following.... Travis, AMA, Moore, O'Mara or Jaksic.

He will Crean someone for 2 of those guys. High major b-ball is a tough biz, and you have to find room for guys like that.

We will have 3 open scholarships as we know it (Amardi, Ejim and Bubu) after this year. Also, we will lose 1-2 of our current guys between now and then. There will always be 1-2 that don't see themselves sitting for 4 years and can't envision a path to playing time.

The great thing is almost all the guys he is after for 2014 are big fish. So I do not see him banking anything, instead, just reeling in 2 of the many big fish he is after.

Ya'll need to quit getting my hopes up.

I think its safe to say if we get Vaughn it doesn't matter which post player we get...all cyclone fans will be ecstatic
