he is #1 on my wish list! we have offers on the table for several 4 star guys but we wont land too many (if any). at QB my #1 choice is sandberg and #2 is meeks. meeks will most likely end up at FSU. another guy i hope we can get is LB josh banderas. has us, nebraska and iowa all high on his list at this point. it's still early, but looking at some prospects i think this could be an awesome recruiting season
Banderas is all Nebraska. It would be shocking if he were to go elsewhere at this point. Campos seems to be liking Iowa, Iowa State, and Missouri most right now but was recently offered by Oregon.

I didn't realize Campos was under 250 lbs. Hope he has seen what our strength and conditioning coaches have done to some other youngsters who were smaller. With his height and 40-50 more lbs on him, Campos could be an All-American at the collegiate level.
With his frame this should not be an issue. I am not sure what he is tipping the scales at now, but usually these guys are involved in other sports (i.e. wrestling, basketball, track) and they keep their weight respectable. Once they get on campus though and start going through S&C and a lot of programs even have them on a certain diet plan, they gain a lot of muscle mass.
A good example is Jak McDonough. IIRC coming out of high school he was like 6'4" 240 lbs (or close) and look at him now. Over 300 lbs and almost all muscle.
Josh Banderas commits to Nebraska per Omaha World Herald and Rivals, he had previously listed us as his second choice according to some sources. So take him off our list:sad:

Probably true, but still worth noting as this is a thread full of recruits we have offered and have seen interest from in return.
His dad played Tight End for the 'Skers from 85-87, legacies are pretty hard to pull away from the ol' Bugeaters.
Just an update I picked up today, Lanning from Ankeny is down to 4. Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Would be a good get for us imo.
Do you know which schools are recruiting as a QB? I thought I saw someone say ISU is recruiting as a DB.
I believe every school is recruiting him as a DB, but I may be incorrect. I know we are for a fact. He will more than likely play DB along with QB this year at Ankeny. He has ties to Nebraska, so it'll be interesting.
