2011 Offers Thread

Since I like recruiting I'll start/ ISU has 4 pretty good targets left. My Favorites in order: Armonze Daniel, Josh Grady, DeVondrick Nealy, and JJ Gaines.

I think Armonze Daniel moves to Dline, I don't think he's fluid enough for LB, but he's has a great frame, and is a very good athlete. Going against Illinois and Purdue.

Josh Grady is a QB that I believe would be our best prospect at QB. I personally like him more than Richardson, and thats saying something. He seems more athletic than Barnett, and also seems to have a stronger arm. If he can't make it at qb he would be a nice saftey or reciever. Going against USF

We all know Nealy. Shifty back, or slot reciever. Would be a great return man. Could also switch to corner, and still make a big impact. He plays LB in high school, so he could cut it at saftey also. Going against Michigan, and maybe Alabama and Auburn.

JJ Gaines, I would say is destined for corner. Unless we feel he would be better fit at WR. Very good athlete. Hasn't been much on him lately, but I think we're against Texas Tech and Duke. If we can get these four we significantly improve our athleticisim.

We are also after alot of WRs. All seem to be 6 foot 180. Ruben Gonzalez and Kori Babineaux are bigger at 6-3 200.
Dline- we should be hearing something about them soonnn. The JUCO ones at least, since I think we want the ones that will enroll for the spring semester.

anyone know of other visits? or whats going on with Bojay Filimoeatu? i'd like to add him to the D-line, and i think we're still the only visit he's taken

I read on a Kstate board that they(KSU) were talking to Filimoeatu. We should find out something soon. also random info: I read on Kstate board with a semi-insider that Princeton Jackson was going to end up at Kstate. The guy wasn't sure if he was going to get a scholarship though, but said he would be there. Jackson did get downgraded on rivals to a 3 star.
 
I really hope we get Bojay.. we need more than 1 D-Lineman, and he won the Defensive player of the year in JUCO(California). Must be something up though if he already visted and only other offers are FIU and Nevada. Anyways hope we get him and a couple WR's.
 
So with Nealy we are at 20. If we can get 4 into last year does that mean we still have 9 spots??? This is going to be a huge month. It looks like there is a lot of really good talent to fill these spots as well. So we might as well fill them right? Unless we are we pushing 85?

So far Jantz and Tautolo will go on 2010. To get 9 will need 2 more on 2010. Maybe Louvan Green DT and if either Mutcherson WR or Hadley S have the grades and get cleared to start here next week instead of USF??? What ever happened to Bojay, didn't graduate from JC maybe?

Of the other 7 I'm thinking 3 or 4 WR - Quenton Bundrage, Cedric Gilbert, Kori Babineaux, and maybe Mutcherson. Remaining 4 Josh Grady QB/ATH, Armonze Daniel LB/DE, Kaleb Johnson OL, Everett Pleasant TE, and maybe Bobby Richardson DT?

Good they got Nealy on before they fill up. If we close the Grady/Mutcherson/Hadley trio plus get all these others we are actually one long. That is probably good as someone will probably fall out somewhere.

I'm thinking at since I didn't see Ruben Gonzalez on CW's list for this weekend that something must have changed with him not coming in?
 
Cyclone Report saying there is a WR commit that will be enrolled for the spring. Can't tell who it is from the pic and can't match it up with any of the current offers. Thinking it's a Juco and he visited this last weekend.
 
Boyd de-committed.. and shockingly after that he went up from a 5.5 to a 5.6. We're in Louvan Green's top 5 as well. Any possible LB's to replace Boyd?
