Council Bluffs is seeing some good football this year. They've got Saint Alberts in 1A, Lewis Central doing well in 3A, Abraham Lincoln in 4A, and Iowa Western Community College has the #4 ranked JUCO football team in the nation in only the program's second year of existence.
we need to take a good look at the millard kid from flour mound,texas.this kid can throw the ball --- has 2400 yds in about 6 games and if he takes them all the way to the texas 5a or 4a title game he may be the record holder for texas passing in one year.has not pledged to anyone and his coach says he is the number one qb in texas.
There's a reason why he only has one small school offer (SFA). Not a good fit for the offensive system at ISU. He is a Pro-style QB. If he is not getting interests from SMU, TCU, or Tech...schools out of Texas that recruit his kind, that should tell you something. Don't recruit strictly off of numbers. Ask Texas. We need playmakers at QB. Ask Texas.
WR Tad Ecby ran a 4.6 which isn't great but they say he has great hands, just got a 2 star. Anyone think we have a chance with Maggitt since his brother goes here?
Looks like we're getting a visit from LB Serderius Bryant after all. I'd say he's now a soft commit to Ole Miss.

In the link you referenced, it says something about signing up for clearinghouse. Do you have any idea what that means?
Besides Omoille? I'd expect Lemke to get two or three stars when they get around to him, Miller two just because he's from such a small school.
Yeah, I agree with Miller, and yeah we got Omoile, but still waiting for rivals to post something. What are our chances with English?

Seriously, for immediate impact, I'm more concerned about landing someone like that Samoan DT, Taumoeapeau. I'd be ecstatic with both. :wink:
I think that we'll get Taumoeapeau, because aren't we his only division 1 offer? He looks pretty good. English is a soft verbal to memphis but visited. Maggitt is a long shot but his brother goes here so hopefully he'll look at us.
I doubt very much that English ends up at Memphis. He said that he had only committed because they were his "best offer" (they had a BAD season), and then we offered. Since then. OSU and Kansas have jumped onto the bandwagon (last time I looked), so we'll see what we see.
