Is it just me or all of these brand new posters kind of wierd? I've counted about a half dozen or so posters the last few days that joined in Dec and have just a few posts. And all of them are pimping coaches. Kind of makes me think Pollard is up to something...:huh:

I'm new, have not posted much and I am no pimp. Some of us are not bad. :wink:

I think the first thing that ticked off Patterson about KSU was that they fired Prince halfway through his third season. Then a few days later the KSU rivals.com site reported a rumor that Patterson was hired as the new KSU coach.

Agreed, but he turned down Minnesota who was offering in the range of $2 million, and trust me I know a mediocre big ten team who has 8 wins and a terrible schedule and is also playing new years day.

Maybe Jesse Ventura and Al Franken don't float GP's boat...

I guess I played against Harvard on XBox once with my National Champion Clones. It was a mismatch.

If their coach can't compete against a loaded video game team, how can he be our coach!!!! :wideeyed:

Here is Tim Murphy's Wikipedia page. He has been the head coach at Maine, Cincinnati, and Harvard. It seems he's done pretty well.

Would be a very interesting hire.

EDIT: Thanks for the additional info - didn't realize he actually had some history, but still don't think it's an option.

I'll be the first to admit I know NOTHING about him.

He’s been a head coach for 22 years (2 at Maine, 5 at Cincinnati, and 15 at Harvard) – 129-97-1 Career Record. Harvard went 9-1 this year and won the Ivy League!!! As another added advantage -- He's not Mike Stoops!
