You are right:
-sex parties for recruiting is OK.
-So is having over 6 rape arrests in your program during your tenure.
-Having no sympathy for a member of your team that was raped
-Under-charging athletes for meal plans is cool too.

I'm sure there's many more. Sounds like a great family man. Can't wait!

Making it sound like Hawk West. No, strike that. He may have had the worst priogram of the two.

Do you think a few ISU fans will be watching the BYU/Arizona game tomorrow night?

I'm hoping that we should be watching the Boise St./TCU game on Tuesday.

good lord....if Stoops is the hire...how could Jaime face the media and introduce a guy with an overall losing record after making fun of Auburn for doing the same thing?

And then I will escort you to the Razzmatazz
Unfortunately, too many murders at the Razz so we can't go there Raggae dancing anymore. It is now Irene's I think after a short stint as the Hickman Steakhouse. I see we just put on our finest white suits, pop our collars and take him to Crush.

Any coach that implies a woman deserved to be raped is NOT OK in my book.....

ala Kirk Ferentz....

Ooops, he didnt know anything about it - except moving DJK and some other clean-er-up-er in that room to get rid of evidence (used condoms and bloody sheets and matresses).

I know KF i know, you didnt know anything about it - just like you didnt know anything about your son living in low income housing intended for poor families.........

Iowa seems to have forgiven Ferentz.....thats what an incredible 8 win season will do for you at Iowa....

One other thing, how does Iowa have the 49th ranked strength of schedule - who did they play that was ranked besides PennSt? Iowa State played Okie St, Missouri, Kansas and our strength of schedule was 92nd????

Dont get it???

No to Barnett. Age and controversy make him a non-winner. Pat Hill, would be good. The guy can coach but not many ties to the Midwest. Mike Stoops, not the same caliber of coach as his brother, but there are worse. Todd Graham, has jumped a lot recently and didn't come across as too honest in his dealings with Rice. Charlie Strong, probably one of the few coordinators I might be willing to take. But once again we get back to bringing up a guy from the SEC who could jump ship if a job was offered back there. Skip Holtz, flashy name but would he want to be located here in the Midwest. Glen Mason, has ISU ties and is a proven head coach but it seems that he peaked at Minnesota. Compared to Brewster though, it seems that Mason wasn't as bad as it seemed. Gus Malzahn, an offensive genius who might just move up and take our job. Another coordinator I would take. Don't know about his recruiting ability and hasn't been a head coach. Bill Cubit, a decent head coach but no name recognition. Jay Norvell and Mark Farley, sorry but just not interested in them at this point.

I agree pretty much with exception to Malzahn. I'd love to have him as OC but I'm not sure he's ready for HC. He's only been in the college ranks 2 years (I think) and a high school coach prior to that.

Wow!!! No more Razzmatazz??? Thats a bummer. Its been way to long since Ive been to Des Moines! How bout the Twisted Parrot, is it still open?

Razz was a cesspool.

Twisted Parrot is still open.
Was at TP last weekend. All the people I used to know that worked there are gone and the crowd was pretty dead. I don't think they do the quarter draws on Friday anymore and their drinks are more expensive than downtown now.
they still have buck hunter though.

Several of the coachs that are being mentioned have games bowl games this week end and next week. So Chtistmas day we should get our present of a new coach.
Saturday:
Hill.... Fresno St.
Stoops.. Arizona
Tuesday
Patterson... TCU
Petersen....Boise St.
Wednesday
My favorite. Weis. Notre Dame

NO to Weis.......it would make my golden domer brother in law entirely too happy to be rid of that guy.

I love how Marty Terrible makes its sound like he been in frequent contact with JP. Even though he has no clue whats going on.

However, to his credit, Pollard shook off a brutal week of negativity and forged ahead

They had to play us, that should be an overall schedule strengthener! And com'on, the Lil 'Leven is the BEST!
