Gary Barnett problems at CU were worse than the current KF problems in Iowa City. It would be wreckless of Jamie to hire Barnett....
I think the guy is a creep....but no where in that article did he imply she deserved to be raped. That's a huuuuge leap to make. He put her down. He was a jerk. But he didn't make that implication.
Yeah, I didn't see where he said it either. But if he did say it, I don't think anyone would want to go down as being quoted as saying he said it. I'm confused, I think I've gone cross-eyed.

Did you see the video footage when he made those comments? It's one of those things that was WAY worse if you saw how it went down.
He way he said it verbally, he implied that she deserved to be raped and that he didn't care if she was raped because she was a "bad player"
I remember when that happened, not a lot of Good PR for that guy. From the people I know in Colorado they didn't like this guy as a person.

I just got an e-mail from a very reliable source that says Lloyd Carr has accepted the job and will bring Stoops in as his Associate head Coach.

Basically saying that if she was good, this wouldn't have happened to her. Blamed her for the whole thing.
Several of the coachs that are being mentioned have games bowl games this week end and next week. So Chtistmas day we should get our present of a new coach.

So if it's not implying she deserved to be raped, it's certainly implying a lack of sympathy. Come on man! Even if he didn't say "she deserved it", the comment itself was classless and just plain dumb to say in front of the press after the woman came out with the story.

Agreed. If your response to rape accusations is "she was terrible" you shouldn't be allowed to run a taco stand let alone a football program.
