    First of all, Rush had an incredible performance. Was he a bit of an idiot post-game - Yes. Did it tick me off to see it - yes. But what Carr did two years ago doesn't justify that type of behavior. It was a different time, different coach and much different program. McDermott won't allow...

    I'll pay it - and am happy to do so - BUT the team had better 'pony up' and win some freakin' games. There are some of us that do not have an employer's match to assist with the cost of NCC membership or tickets.

    It was GREAT to see them in action today. Man - they are good for being such a young team. 6 RS Freshmen - it was great. BTW - this was the first time I was there to see the new video/scoreboard. It's pretty d&^n cool.

    Hope you guys can help me out the the answer to this question: What was Johnny Orr's record home vs. away? I have a friend who swears he didn't win more than a dozen games away.... I find that hard to believe.

    I have to give Mac credit for showing some aggression - but it just wasn't SMART. Really - who goes for it on 4-10 while you're on the opposing team's 40? Why not punt it with over 5 minutes to go in the game. I agree - seems like he panicked.

    ESPN owes us an apology on the announcing for this game. Both commentators were bush league....you would think a rivalry like this would have brought a better announcing team. :angry6wn:

    Mac's gonna have to come up with some new statements...the same old ones just aren't working.... Here's me hoping they improve for next week - my Hawkeye family will roast me if they don't....

    Agreed. Come on....all of the penalties that our team got last night - and you're complaining about a miscue from the band??? It wouldn't be football without our great marching band - cut them some slack for a small error.
