Those types of websites find articles online and then rewrite them in effusive, flowerly, verbose style and often include photos that don't pertain. BNN Breaking is another one. Recently the latter started using releases from us, with twice as many words as needed and in weirdly positive styles. Big ugh.

Looking it up, think she's roughly tied for 1st in career ppg at 28.3 (the other being Patricia Hoskins, who played for Mississippi Valley State back in the 80s)
college women were under AIAW until 1982 and Woodard played in late 70's, thus "technically" her record is not NCAA record, but AIAW record.
I was incorrect. I meant Pearl Moore. Woodard still has more points than Clark even though Clark will probably pass her this year. Woodard played at Kansas before there was NCAA for women's. Moore played at a small school before there was NCAA for women's. Moore scored over 4,000 pts.
Didn't she also play for the Globetrotters? I remember a woman joining them when I was a kid.
Oh I know, but overall, like Jordan/James. I don’t care that James is the all time scoring leader, he’s played 20+ years and is a great player, of course he has the record.
It will be the same if Clark comes back next year, obviously no one would touch the total scoring mark, because she would have played 5 full years, I’d consider the top scorer someone who had more PPG over a 4 year career.
Didn't she just go 6 for 32 with 1 assist? She may break the scoring record, but it will be a long long long time before anyone can put up the scoring plus assist numbers CC has put up. I get it, she's a hawk, you hate it. But to me, she's an Iowan I watched grow up who has done things that won't be done for a long time.
From all the highlights I’ve seen of Juju, I think she’s a better all around player than CC is. And doesn’t seem to be nearly the drama queen from what I’ve seen.
