There is no negative in playing this game. Chance to move to sole possession of first place, still a strong chance of a tie if we lose and take care of business. Tough environment against a top 5 team is excellent experience for potential match-ups in March. Everything says this is a close one or a Houston rout.

I'm calling the shot against the grain, we're gonna lock Houston up early again and get hot from 3. Except this time we don't let up. Cyclones by 10+...75-65.

I forgot some of the stats from our last match-up:
- we only hit 3 three-pointers
- C Jones was held scoreless
- King led both teams with 9 rebounds
- we made 6 more free throws than they attempted
- Cryer only had 5 points

I'll be surprised if any of those stat lines are the same tonight.

From a NCAA tournament seeding and national perception standpoint it does matter a little bit how we look and how close of a game it is. If it ends up being similar to the Marquette vs. UConn game from last week we'll take a little of bit of a hit, similar to what happened to Marquette. If we keep it really close, but ultimately lose at the end in a one or two possession game we would likely get a bit of a bump in perception. If we win the game we have an inside track to the regular season title and open up the possibility of a 1 seed.
