Anyone know what the officials are? I sure hope we don't get a ref show from them trying to control this game (this one isn't controllable).What's the over under for total fouls tonight?

Next is AT Baylor and the finish with Kansas at Home.I have not looked at the metrics for conference schedules... but who has had the more difficult conference schedule between the two schools?
I'm going to say Houston since they have to play us twiceI have not looked at the metrics for conference schedules... but who has had the more difficult conference schedule between the two schools?
2nd half will have a lot more fouls.What's the over under for total fouls tonight?
What's a little weird is the ML for this game is +345. Meanwhile our odds of winning the B12 is 220.
Guess Vegas thinks our odds of losing and winning out and Houston to stumble later on is higher then us winning this game.
This. Both teams are so good defensively that when you work to get open looks you have to make. We’re at Houston this time but I think Gilbert and Jones are playing better and more consistently than the first game, and I think Lipsey is due for a break out game.and make shots, make shots, make shots. (the few times that we have good ones)
To be fair, their home schedule has not been murderer's row... but you are correct. Hoping ISU keeps it close with a chance to pull it out. No "expansion team" should win the conference in year one. Let's make sure it stays that way.Houston has smashed everyone at home this season. It’s a tough game for any team to go in there on a quick turnaround and get the win. Iowa State is playing fantastic ball but I give the nod to the cougars tonight. Hope the team pulls it out and I eat my words. It’ll take a Herculean effort. Go State
Thanks. There are 3-4 opportunities for losses on that list after tonightISU
@Baylor
Cincinnati
@Oklahoma
@UCF
Kansas
A much tougher end to the conference season than us although obviously still favored in every one. Legitimate chances at loss going to Baylor and OU, then hosting KU at the end. Even Cincinnati is a "trap", although realistically very minimal.
Yeah that point has been lost on some people I think. We are the best team to play them at their place this season. They’ve blown everyone out, but we are not everyone. We are a team of grown men and we are freakin tough. We will be in this game and we will make them earn it. I’ll be shocked if they blow us out.To be fair, their home schedule has not been murderer's row... but you are correct. Hoping ISU keeps it close with a chance to pull it out. I agree with you. But deep down you know …..High Highs & Low Lows….it’s the cyclone fanatic way lolI know it’s a waste of typing, but I will do it anyway. Can we PLEASE do our best to not melt down if we lose this? There’s a chance we actually get housed tonight, and that won’t change a damn thing in my mind with this team and what’s left on the table.
This isn’t a scenario where in the past we’ve had chances to take control of something and lost it to a team that is inferior or one we had a real chance to win against. We have a chance tonight for sure, BUT this will be an absolute monumental ask to win at their place.
Time to shock the college basketball landscape!
Looking at their game logs - I was surprised to see that over their last 5 games, Houston has not gotten a "friendly whistle". They've been called for 18+ fouls a game vs 15 for their opponents, and have been outshot from the FT line 23+ to 16.What's the over under for total fouls tonight?

Also looking at what makes them so tough at home - one thing I noticed was that in all of their conference home games they have more steals than turnovers, which is a bit crazy. And of course they force their opponents into horrible shooting nights routinely, especially at home.
