Correct. I should’ve added what I said earlier.2 or 3 doesn’t matter but location does. Baylor in the Midwest and us in the East is silly
Path matters. Don’t run into a team that is supposed to be a higher seed.

as much as we'd like to see kansas be #10 overall, i just don't see it. with wins over UCONN, Tennessee, Houston, and Kentucky (whose not great) they will be 6-9
The only thing they can say against ISU vs KU is non con SOS. To be fair they’ve been fairly consistent at using that in seeding, but on our behalf we played in a decent non con tournament this yearWith losses to UCF, WV. Understand the committee rewards good wins but you cannot completely ignore bad losses either.
I don’t mind being a 2 or 3 seed so long as they play in OmahaThe only thing they can say against ISU vs KU is non con SOS. To be fair they’ve been fairly consistent at using that in seeding, but on our behalf we played in a decent non con tournament this year
Important to remember this week's games did not count towards todays reveal, i.e. Kansas's 30 point loss to Tech and our win vs Cincy and now Tech aren't considered. So Iowa state is a 3 seed with a 18-5 record in the committees eyes today.Kansas and Baylor being seeded ahead of Iowa State is criminal.
Every game is taken into consideration. I don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but Jess Settles said during today’s game that Iowa State can play its way to a 1 seed. Which is true. How awesome would that be. Would likely mean we won the regular season title and possibly the conference tourney as well.Just keep doing what we're doing. Not too worried about brackets yet. Still lots of games left to switch things up

Settles has had time to study up on each of the Big 12 teams because he's only taking 12 credits this semester. On a side note, I hadn't paid close attention to Settles in previous broadcasts, but was a bit more tuned-in for today's game. He's knowledgable and provided solid analysis. Knows nooks-and-crannies/details of Big 12 and each team equally today (including specifics about the players). Hate to give a Hawkeye credit, but fair is fair.
You can tell he really tries to do his homework unlike a lot of them. Yeah, nothing makes me tune out an announcer faster than listening to them give insights that show they know nothing about our teamYou can tell he really tries to do his homework unlike a lot of them. That's all I ask for personally
We also landed on the moonThe NCAA revealed its first Top 16 earlier today on CBS. ISU is currently seeded 11th. I found it interesting that last year's four number 1 seeds remained the same from the first reveal to Selection Sunday. Hopefully ISU can throw a monkey wrench in things with a win on Monday night.

I think he is working on his 12th degree too.Settles has had time to study up on each of the Big 12 teams because he's only taking 12 credits this semester.
