We have to take care of business Saturday first.
As it sits after tonight I would think Iowa State would have the edge on North Carolina and KU for a 2 seed.
The top 16 will be revealed at 11:30 AM CT on CBS..
The seed list will be revealed during the first half of our game Saturday
Iowa State is playing for a #1 seed in Omaha this coming Monday @Houston. The winner of the Big 12 will get a #1 seed. The #1 seeds will be Uconn, Purdue, Arizona and the winner of the Big 12 (Houston or Iowa State).
Not my own but my guess on how the top 16 will be.
1- Purdue, UCONN, Houston, Arizona
2- Marquette, ISU, Tennessee, UNC
3- Kansas, Alabama, Baylor, Auburn
4- South Carolina, Illinois, Duke, Wisconsin
Gonna throw my guess out there as well in order from 1-16.

Something that hasn't been discussed much is with NIL in play and the number of transfers how does the committee weigh non con performance moving forward? I have a feeling you are going to start to see less weight put on the non con schedule, especially when you play in one of the top conferences. Teams in Feb look a lot different than teams in November and December. This is why I potentially see Iowa State as the top 2 seed right now. The bracketologists are still putting a lot of stock into that portion of the schedule which is why they have been bullish on Iowa States seeding predictions.
thats bold. don't think we'll be the #5 overall seed.
I could see something like
1.) Purdue, UCONN, Houston, Arizona,
2.) Marquette, Tennessee, Iowa State, UNC
or flip flop UNC/Iowa State. It'll be close but still think we'll be on the 3 line.
Their lack of depth will be a concern for the committee. Kansas always gets the benefit of the doubt but I don't think they will get over seeded this year.
WHich basically means Kansas can lose every game and ESPN will still put them on the 2 line. It's amazing how much ESPN tries to pump up Kansas.
