Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Almost right. It was a non-shooting foul and Maryland's 6th team foul so it was Iowa ball out of bounds after the technical free throws. I was watching to see who Fran picked to shoot the FTs but it was OOB. And I thought it was a quick and cheap tech but it might have been building all game and that was the straw.

Agree on the cheap tech but without knowing what he actually said hard to to really say.

My biz partner just came to this realization out loud yesterday.

For years, I had been poking him gently about Fran "saving" the younger Murray, and basically stalling his career in order to milk another decent year rather than let him play and move on with his brother. And that Patty Mac was the one taking those minutes.

He hates Fran anyway - both for the bad teams and for the embarrassing behavior. But I think he is just realizing how much malpractice Fran has been getting away with. So are a lot of their fans.

Interesting how when they landed Krikke he was supposedly a top 5 forward in the portal at his position. Yay Fran!

Now that we know he sucks, the Swarm is poor and there's nothing Fran can do!

What is the definition of "completely falling off?" Only family and close friends in Carver?

Iowa fans say how broke they are but then make fun of us for not having money.

See TOE is claiming a sell out for the Wisconsin game, must think it is a women's game. Or else Dolph is handing out thousands of tickets to his Wisconsin friends.

And it is even more frustrating that a P2 conference is so bad at basketball. Even though basketball is a distant second to football in the grand scheme of things, $. The Big 12 is clearly the best basketball conference and ISU is poised to make a deep run in the tournament.

Your care for basketball is a distant second to football? That sounds like a miserable winter.

All that travel and jet lag is going to suck for their western teams, though.

The attendance at Pauley Pavilion is terrible too. Probably about 25% last game against CU. Too bad Bill wasn’t doing the color for the explanation. A ‘Dead’ reference could not have been truer.
