*** Official Kansas State vs #23 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

4-4 tonight. You can tell he’s got a good free throw shot and he’ll get that percentage up

Before he came to ISU he was between. 65 and 68 percent but since he's been here he's been awful. His form is pretty good so you'd think it will come up. I guess we'll see but on the surface it's a little perplexing.

Overall, the reffing was poor tonight, but I am not sure it favored one team over another. Tang was pissed at the clock situation at the end of the half, even though they refs told him that is not reviewable in the first half. The refs missed one late in the game after ISU scored the kid of KSU was on the endline when he inbounded the ball and should have been called. But they were missing stuff all night long.

One thing I noticed that when Big Rob is shooting free throws, when he leans back is missing every time, but he stays more straight up or leans forward he has decent form and makes them.

Good win, move on to Kansas.

The clock thing was wrong by .8 seconds for a full court heave.

He is a nutjob to freak out that bad over that.

Well, C Jones was 5-5, Hasan 4-4, lipsey 4-5, Gilbert 6-7, and Milan 6-8. Really just BRE with a bad night from the line.
While that is very positive we still only shot 67% from the line as a team. I posted that without reviewing the box score, just felt like we missed some big ones while the game was still in the balance.

I can’t decide if Tang or Dixon get the B12 Award for Most Animated Coach Trying to Influence the Refs crown. They both are over the top but Dixon thinks he has to be out on the court and Tang at least keeps off the court. But it’s razor thin between them, they both lose games playing the fool instead of coaching in the crunch.

TBH, Tang thinks we only need one coach's box, apparently.

My first job was Hy-Vee. That's just called condensing. Good practices.

All our missed came during a stretch when we were 3 for 10 and it was after the 14 point lead evaporated, so it must have made it appear worse than what it ended up being.
