***2024 NFL Season***

No I completely agree. Everyone was only expecting a 4 or 5 win season so to make the playoffs and win a game was a total surprise.
As long as Jordan Love wasn't terrible did you really think they would win less than 7-8 games? I mean they are still an astronomically better run franchise than anyone else in the division. By default they were winning 7.

Not seeing much support for Anthony Johnson, one of my favorite Cyclones ever. Given the Packers injuries in the secondary, he got some good playing time during the season. So happy he was drafted. He played out of position at ISU for most of his career because we didn’t have a better option.
Love Anthony! Yes, he was forgotten about by many (me) this season. Wish him continued success!

I'm really rooting for the Lions, and Montgomery to meet SF in the Conference Championship! This way we'll have at least one Cyclone to cheer in the SB.

Well for 1 - the Eagles are my favorite team, Packers are a very close second.

For 2 - I have personal connections to Brock, he’s not just another former player.

For 3 - I don’t think it’s fair to question if somebody is a fan of a team just because they also have allegiance to someone on an opposing team.

For 4 - I feel Brock’s window for a championship is relatively small because he gels with the stars around him more than I think he would any of their replacements.

For 5 - Loyal Sons Forever True.
I feel like you can’t have 5 teams like it seems you do. Pick a team and that is your team. I’m a Vikings fan through and through. If it ended up being Vikings-Niners in the NFC championship game I’m sure as hell not rooting against my team.

I understand rooting for other teams when your team isn’t in it or playing. With the Vikings being bad I’m certainly rooting for the Niners and for the Lions and for Iowa state guys in general.

Who is the Lions cornerback, though, who took out Hockenson's knee?

Kerby Joseph. I can't root for him!

Gibbs is pretty good, and a good blocker too, the last couple of plays.

Not sure how good he will turn out. Hard to justify taking a RB in the 1st round anymore (unless it's a Breece Hall).
