The difference was playing without Lipsey late. Gilbert made a few questionable plays down the stretch. Sub in Lipsey and I assume we never let the lead get under 7.Lucky to pull that one out. Difference late in the game was ISU played not to lose offensively instead of to win.
My new strategy is to go put $20 ML on ISU opponent when theres a double digit ISU lead at half.Good news are the standings don’t care about almost blowing leads
I will take growing a 15-20 point lead in the first half, then blowing that same lead and winning by only 1, for the rest of my life. Let's set that up please. We just won a league game on the road against a ranked team without our best player and some very questionable calls in the second half, come on now.
See my signatureI have a feeling your life is especially difficult. Sorry.
Shouldn’t shock anyone. When teams quit turning over the ball and put us in the half court we struggle.Super glad they pulled out the W! But these blown double digit leads by TJ are getting old
Out rebounded by 16 and had 13 less free throw attempts yet somehow win without our star PG. impressive.
Obviously all because of the TO differential which lead to us taking 16 more shots.
I like to think we had a lot to do with that. But yes, TCU will be running wind sprints tomorrow!27 TO’s by TCU ouch.
Houston led that same team by 12 and lost.Super glad they pulled out the W! But these blown double digit leads by TJ are getting old
should keep us ranked
It’s unfortunately a bit of a trend in the TJ era. Many things can be true at once.Need to learn how to milk the clock better and close out games, but at least it didn't cost us this time.
Not gonna win many games with that statline. It actually reflects pretty well on TCU that it was only a 1 point loss despite that TO volume.27 TO’s by TCU ouch.
Loved how the officials had a tough time finding any TCU fouls in the second half, but when Ward has the late ally oop they knew that Keeshon had to be fouled on the pass. Fortunate we got the call.
With a dark background it's invisible. I highlighted that area to see it. That's why I changed mine to purple so it would show in dark and light screens. Just FYISee my signature
The only points off the bench in the 2nd half were Hason's put-back dunk.
All 9 guys who played scored, though. Happy flight home after everyone contributed, I bet!
RJones and Ward both with 4 fouls. I thought TJ did a pretty good job managing that, but it also affected their aggressiveness and probably resulted in a few TCU rebounds.
Along with Gilbert and CJones, Watson played great.
The team kept responding to TCU runs when they could've easily collapsed. Hung on at the end for a HUGE road win!
