Has Arizona upgraded facilities? Only a few years ago they were the worst in the West for a major program. I'm not real sure you leave ISU for Arizona if you have better options. ASU is a different story.

Fans are allowed to have different opinions and tire of certain coaches and their styles. I hate CMC's public comments and how he gets routinely outcoached on gameday and still can't perform a 2 minute drill.

He wasted the 2021 year, and we have already seen his ceiling, which I doubt he ever again matches due to his turtling up in big games.

He is almost always unprepared for bowl games, and his timeout usage is appalling.

I'm fine with rolling the dice, simply because I'm sick of CMC's act, and that of his apologists.

Where would ISU be now had they gone 9-3ish in 2021 which was probably their ceiling? Wven 10-2 with breaks.

About the same? Cool, cool.
 
Understand its a pretty high profile job and Big 10 money, but damn their roster for next year would have me terrified. They need a proven recruiter to start right away.

Someone made the point that their top 2 targets (fisch and leipold) are partly being targeted because they could bring a star QB along.

That's a fair opinion.

And I'm sure there's plenty of fans from many programs who would love to have Matt Campbell as their head coach.
