***2023-24 Mens College Basketball Thread***

Getting my first look at St John’s. They have a pretty good team compared to what it’s been. Pitino seems really engaged and in charge. I know he’s a slimy sleaze ball, but the guy can coach.

Looks nice. Less capacity, more "on top of you" crowd. A little nuisance with camera higher up like Okie State.
Only Baylor could win a national championship and then reduce their home capacity by 30% after spending $200m for a smaller arena.

Oh and I love how the court at a "Baptist" school is named after an alum who's twice-married and famous for being fired for sexual harrasment.

Reduction in capacity is the trend for all sports. More suites and charge more per ticket and make sure it's full and loud. It actually makes a lot of sense. But with every game being on tv they should have planned for a spot for the camera.

ESPN2 color commentator told Louisville fans to be patient and used ISU @ Virginia as an example. Said Bennett got really, really booed in 2010 when we held them to 15pts in a half.

Big one coming up for Fred's Fuskers -3.5

Indiana 10-3, 2-0 @ Nebby 11-2, 1-1 8:00 BTN

Omg who is the little Asian dude that plays for Hoiball who looks like an 8th grade version of Ken Jeong? LOL! I can't watch him without cracking up.

(富永 啓生, とみなが けいせい (Keisei Tominaga) is a stud, or at least was last year when he was over 40% on 3s. Almost left the team to play pro abroad after last season but I think they ponied up some righteous nil bucks to keep him in Lincoln.

Do the Huskers lead the nation in head bands?

We're a long ways out from this even potentially happening but... If Iowa State and Nebraska both make the NCAA tournament, given that the committee likes to create storylines with their match ups, do you think they would put Nebraska vs. ISU as a first or second round game?
